CEREC Same-Day Crowns
This is the newest and perhaps the most advanced piece of dental technology added to our practice. The revolutionary state of the art CEREC suite of technologies allows for the quick creation of custom made dental restorations, such as crowns, bridges, veneers and more.
The process utilises computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) to capture digital images of the tooth, which are then used by our dentist to design and create the restoration for our patients in a single appointment. This can eliminate the hassle of temporary crowns and multiple appointments. No more impression trays and fewer injections, all the while offering convenience, comfort and quality dental solutions in a complete package.

EMS AIRFLOW® PROPHYLAXIS MASTER
One of our proudest technology is the EMS Airflow® Prophylaxis Master unit. Each EMS Airflow machine is Swiss made and subject to rigorous testing. They have superb precision, and design. They undergo over 100,000 hours of technical and clinical testing in collaboration with leading dental professionals worldwide. The best part about a dental clean done by the EMS Airflow is that it doesn’t even feel like you’re getting a clean! The way you experience a dental clean will be transformed.
The Airflow Plus Powder is 14μm and is a high-tech powder which removes biofilm and early calculus in a minimally invasive way from all types of surfaces above and below the gumline. The Piezon PS instrument replaces the traditional ultrasonic scaler tips. The traditional ultrasonic scaler tips have a tendency to cause more sensitivity due to the way it’s designed. The way Piezon works ensures there’s less sensitivity.

Intraoral Scanner - Trios 3
The 3Shape TRIOS 3 is a cutting-edge intraoral scanner that combines advanced technology with ease of use. With the use of our intraoral scanner, we are able to have high-tech imaging of your teeth and bite. Within a short time frame, we are able to obtain a 3D digital record of your teeth with high level of detail and accuracy.
At HD Dental Studio, we’ve invested in the wireless version of the scanner for ease of use – for both the dentist and patients. No need for wires hanging over the side or over you. It also makes cleaning easier and ensures we adhere to infection control. We also have apps that are integrated that can assist with virtual smile design, patient monitoring, and orthodontic simulation.
In summary, the 3Shape TRIOS 3 is a powerful tool that revolutionises digital dentistry, providing accurate scans, realistic colors, and improved patient experiences. 3Shape TRIOS3 also integrates with a lot of clear aligner brands, and it allows integration with Invisalign® aligner system.
PHILIPS Zoom Teeth Whitening
We use PHILIPS Zoom in-chair whitening treatment for our patients. This is the best industry standard on providing professional teeth whitening in just one sitting. The accompanying advanced Whitespeed blue LED lamp is used to accelerate the whitening process and it can make your teeth visibly whiter in as little as 45 minutes.
Digital X-Rays
Digital x-rays produce safe radiographic images of your teeth and gums, allowing your Brisbane and Mount Gravatt dentist to plan customised treatments earlier rather than later. Digital images reveal dental issues while they are still small and often undetectable to the naked eye. Digital x-rays are safe, emitting a fraction of the radiation produced by older generation technology. They are also better for the environment since no chemicals or films are needed.

Intra-Oral Camera

Another advantage of the images created with the intraoral camera is that your dentist can show you in real-time just what is visible.
